Born in a cabin tucked into Ponca Hills, just north of Omaha, Frank grew up fishing on the banks of the Missouri and eating fresh produce from the gardens down the road. He knew the woods like the back of his hand. He was not a shy man Known for his gregarious sense of humor, a keen knack for business and a gravelly-voiced charm, Frank grew up to become somewhat of a legend in the hills. Not just because he threw large parties for hundreds of neighbors and friend or because he knew the best spots to find morel mushrooms ... he was a legend because of his picky eating habits. He was downright finicky.
We first met snowy haired Frank when we moved to our farm in Ponca Hills. In keeping with Frank's finicky expectations, we use the freshest ingredients wherever possible. We think you'll agree, Frank was on to something.
